Khyati's death and secuirty of Kathmandu

The incident of Khyati Shrestha's kidnapping, rape and murder raised a curtain over the security situation of Nepal. It shows how insecure we are here. We pay tax, support all illegal government. For what? if they cannot guarantee that our sons and daughters who go out in the morning will return in the evening?

It seems that the kidnappers, rapists and murderers are moving around us in the street and who knows whose turn comes when. It is just a matter of luck and badluck.

How can we live in this city? And what can we do if we cannot also run away from our birthplace?

We have seen dozens of governments after 1990 change. All priministers are immigrants. They only know how to make money from this city. And they never bother to make a rule to manage the citizens. Nobody knows who lives where and what profession do they have. This anarchy gives room for the criminals.

See, the politicians are all silent. Because Khyati's family belongs to no political party and has no link to "great" people of this country. Do you remember? what hurricane the UML wallas created when Ramhari was killed a year ago? Who was he? He was just a street night guard of Jhochhe who took away a local girl and forcefully married her. And when a brilliant girl is killed all the leaders were keeping silent. They can talk only about their class.

Now, it is the turn of the general public of this Katmandu to raise their voice. The school girls and boys did a good job yesterday. It was a good response to irresponsible ministers.

Let's go to the street and seek the justice for the family and also guarantee that no other Khyati will be victim of anarchy. Perhaps, this is the reason why some countries have provision of death penalty.

The new constitution is being written. Isn't it the time to go for the biggest punishment for the cruel murders? Let's begin discussion from today.
